Volunteers

Chase Trails is a local volunteer group set up over 20 years ago in partnership with Forestry England to build and maintain the mountain bike trails on Cannock Chase. The vast majority of red and black grade trails on the Chase are built and maintained by Chase Trails volunteers, who meet on a regular basis to work on the trails.

Anyone is welcome to volunteer (U18s require a parent or adult guardian present), and you'll get a warm fuzzy feeling when you help work on the trails you love to ride! Fancy helping out? Here's some info:

Where: Meet at Cannock Chase Cycle Centre.
When: At least once a month. Dates are published on the Chase Trails website.

Booking: Registration and booking in advance is essential. Please click the above link for information.
Bring: Outdoor clothing, decent footwear, and something to eat/drink. Tools are supplied!
Parking: Volunteers get free parking for the day at Birches Valley, just ask if you need a parking pass.
